The PMIST, deemed to be a university, at Vallam near here has bagged three awards announced by the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Academy of the Tamil Nadu government for 2026.
While the institution bagged the “Active Participating Member Institution Award” and the “Educational Leadership Award” for its outstanding performance in implementing various initiatives, the Best Coordinator Award was presented to the Department of Computer Science and Engineering for effective coordination and successful implementation of ICT Academy programmes resulting in significant outcomes, according to a university release.
