PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Raichur wins first prize at KVS Zonal level competition
Students from PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Raichur won first prize in an instrumental music competition at the KVS Zonal level. The team will now advance to the national Kala Utsav competition in Delhi.

PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Raichur secured the first prize in the Instrumental Music Group (folk/classical) category at the KVS Zonal Level EBSB and Kala Utsav 2026 held on August 31 and September 1 at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya MEG and Centre, Bengaluru.
The competition featured participating teams from across five KVS regions: Bengaluru, Chennai, Ernakulam, Bhubaneswar, and Hyderabad.
Representing the Bengaluru region, the Raichur team clinched the top spot. Under the training of music teacher Paras Pandey and the guidance of principal S. Deepashri, the students — Venkata Raghavendra Kanakavidu, Rudra Dev Gupta, Chetan, Chandan P. Angadi — won the prize.
