The Hi-Tech City Railway Station, which has undergone a major redevelopment at a cost of ₹26 crore, will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through video conferencing on Friday.
The upgraded station features a 12-metre-wide foot overbridge, additional lifts and escalators, improved signage, and several other passenger amenities. It is among the 40 railway stations being redeveloped in Telangana under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS) at a total cost of over ₹2,000 crore, South Central Railway (SCR) chief PRO A.Sridhar said at a press briefing on Wednesday.
