Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated a two-day international conference on “The Future of Environment and Climate Dynamics”, organised by the National Green Tribunal (NGT) at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.The conference, being held on September 19 and 20, brings together judges, environmental experts, senior government officials and representatives of various environmental and judicial institutions from India and abroad. Judicial representatives from 17 countries are also participating in the event.Chief Justice of India Justice Surya Kant, Union Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Bhupender Yadav, Attorney General R Venkataramani and NGT Chairperson Justice Prakash Shrivastava attended the inaugural session.The conference will feature four technical sessions focusing on key environmental and climate-related issues.
