PM calls for the lifting of the US embargo on Cuba

Namibian Prime Minister Dr. Tjitunga Elijah Ngurare has called for the lifting of the US embargo on Cuba during the UNAOC summit in Angola. He also reaffirmed Namibia's support for the self-determination of the Palestinian people and the people of Western Sahara.

Prime Minister Dr Tjitunga Elijah Ngurare has reiterated Namibia’s call for the lifting of the United States embargo on Cuba, stressing that the Cuban people deserve to live in peace, harmony and with human dignity.
“It remains our unequivocal position that the US-imposed embargo on Cuba must be lifted, and the people of Cuba should be allowed to live in peace, harmony and with human dignity,” said Dr Ngurare.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed that Namibia remains steadfast in its support for the inalienable right of all peoples to self-determination.
