IPOH: PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) along with related agencies are continuing to monitor the situation at KM263.6 of the North-South Expressway southbound and traffic flow following a landslide incident yesterday afternoon.

Perak police chief Alwi Zainal Abidin said that PLUS is also obtaining an assessment from experts regarding the hill slope conditions in the area to ensure the safety of the route before further action is determined, Bernama reported.

He added that the left lane at the landslide site will be closed using safety cones, covering a stretch of approximately 1km, as a precautionary measure.
