Pledge of Commitment signed for peaceful, credible BARMM polls

ZAMBOANGA CITY- Representatives from the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILG), the military and police came together at the Lamitan City Gym in Lamitan Basilan on Monday, September 7 to sign a Pledge of Commitment to ensure honest, peaceful, orderly and credible Bangsamoro parliamentary elections this September 14.
The agreement seeks to intensify existing peace agreements and strengthen communication linkages between the Bangsamoro Islamic Armed Forces, police and the military.
It also reiterates the commitment of field commanders to defuse potential threats during the parliamentary polls.
