Piers Morgan’s Offer To ‘Help’ Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Was Anything but Kind

Piers Morgan criticized Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after reports emerged that the couple dislikes the term 'working members of the royal family.' Morgan accused the pair of profiting from their royal status while performing 'fake' duties.
Why it matters
The ongoing public tension between the Sussexes and media figures reflects broader cultural debates regarding the role of modern royalty and celebrity branding.
Piers Morgan has reacted to reports that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle dislike the phrase "working members of the royal family." The Sunday Times royal editor, Roya Nikkhah, shared the report on X, highlighting the couple's alleged objections to the term.
"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex 'hate' the phrase 'working members of the royal family,' believing it to be a 'lazy' definition of royal duty. 'They are members of the royal family, and they work,' say friends. Views that won't help ease tensions with the royal family, @thetimes," she wrote.
Morgan subsequently responded to the post with a sarcastic jab at the Sussexes, questioning the nature of their work and accusing them of profiting from their royal connections.
