Physically challenged woman attacked with sharp weapon

The victim, identified as Sufiya, 42, is currently undergoing treatment in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
According to the complaint filed by her family at the Pulakeshi Nagar Police Station, Sufiya had been living with Bhaskar, who was married earlier and is also reportedly physically challenged. The family has alleged that Sufiya was attacked on August 28 and sustained multiple injuries.
The family said Bhaskar came to their house around noon and informed them that Sufiya had suffered injuries and had been shifted to a private hospital. Her relatives rushed to the hospital around 2.30 p.m., where doctors reportedly informed them that she had suffered five injuries to the head and three injuries to the hand.
