The Association of People with Disability (APD) has launched ‘AS i AM’, a photography and videography movement aimed at changing the portrayal of disability in India’s visual culture.
The initiative seeks entries from photographers, videographers, and visual storytellers documenting the everyday and joyful realities of people with disabilities, according to a press release. Submissions are open until October 31, with winners to be announced on December 3, International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
