PG dental courses: Second round of counselling to begin on September 19

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) on Friday announced the schedule for the second round of seat allotment for postgraduate dental courses. The process will begin on Saturday.
Candidates who selected Choice-3 or other choices in the first round must pay a caution deposit of ₹1,00,000 (₹50,000 for SC/ST candidates) between September 19 and 22 to become eligible for the second round. They will be allowed to enter their options only after paying the deposit, said H. Prasanna, executive director of KEA.
Candidates who selected Choice-2 in the first round and have already paid the fee are not required to pay the caution deposit again. If they are allotted a seat in this round, the caution deposit they have already paid will be adjusted against the fee.
