A two-day free eye screening camp organised by Pfizer Healthcare India Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with Sankar Foundation at Aganampudi screened 1,113 patients.

The camp, held as part of Pfizer’s corporate social responsibility initiative, provided free eye screening, consultation and treatment at the Community Welfare Centre.

Of those screened, 883 were prescribed spectacles, with 770 receiving them on the spot. Medicines were distributed to 435 patients, while 75 were selected for eye surgeries. Sixteen surgeries were performed on the second day, with the remaining surgeries scheduled for the following day, according to the organisers.
