Permanent house titles distributed to 939 families in Nellore

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday virtually launched the distribution of permanent house titles to the beneficiaries at Sarvepalli Katta in Nellore, from his camp office, fulfilling the long-standing housing aspirations of 939 families.
The coalition government had granted permanent ownership rights to eligible poor families over 22.31 acres of land valued at approximately ₹600 crore, an official release said.
The Chief Minister congratulated the beneficiaries who received their house titles and expressed happiness over the fulfilment of their long-pending aspirations.
Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister P. Narayana and Nellore District Collector Himanshu Shukla participated in the programme held in Nellore. Mr. Narayana handed over the house titles to the beneficiaries.
Of the 939 beneficiaries, 701 were women, reflecting the government’s emphasis on women empowerment and strengthening their property ownership rights, the release said.
