A Pennsylvania couple has permanently protected 78 acres of land from development, preventing the construction of over 100 homes. This conservation effort creates a 236-acre contiguous corridor of preserved land in West Vincent Township.

Paul and Cynthia Black purchased 78.3 acres in Pennsylvania in 2022 with a goal beyond simply owning land that they wanted to ensure it would never be developed. Their latest conservation effort has now permanently protected the property, expanding a 236-acre corridor of preserved land and eliminating plans for 88 houses and 21 condominiums through three contiguous land projects.French & Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust announced the permanent protection of the 78.3-acre property in West Vincent Township on August 13, 2026.
