Pedestrian and motorcyclist killed in overnight crash

A 68-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man were killed in a collision between a motorcycle and a pedestrian on the Sunshine Coast. Police are currently investigating the incident and seeking witnesses.

A woman and a motorbike rider have died following a crash at Warana on Saturday night.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the fatal collision, which occurred on Nicklin Way at about 8.12pm.
Initial investigations indicate a pedestrian was attempting to cross the road when she was struck by a southbound motorbike.
The pedestrian, a 68-year-old Warana woman, sustained critical injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
The motorbike rider, a 30-year-old Golden Beach man, also suffered critical injuries and died at the scene.
