Peddapalli MP Gaddam Vamsi Krishna has urged the Centre and the Telangana government to resolve the long-pending name discrepancy (alias names) issue affecting Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) workers, and ensure justice for them.

In a statement, Mr. Krishna said both governments had a responsibility to protect the interests of the Singareni organisation and its workforce. He noted that he had written several letters to the Union Ministries of Power and Finance on the issue and had also brought it to the notice of Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka.

Expressing concern over the delay in resolving the matter, the MP said the issue remained pending despite repeated representations to the SCCL management.
