PETALING JAYA: Two weeks may be a short time to prepare for a major tournament, but Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah believe they have made every day count in preparing for the World Championships in New Delhi.
The women’s doubles pair only had a fortnight to prepare after returning home from the Taiwan Open on Aug 2, where they finished runners-up.
For Pearly, the two weeks were particularly important as she continues to work her way back to her best after being troubled by injuries in recent months.
“We’ve prepared as much as we could because we only had two weeks after the Taiwan Open.
“I’m very satisfied with what we managed to do during these two weeks.
“We trained quite well and our communication has been really good.
“Now, we just want to give our best in this tournament,” said Pearly.
