The 14th graduation day of Poojya Doddappa Appa College of Engineering, Kalaburagi, will be held at the College Auditorium (Student Activity Centre) on the college campus here on Saturday.
HKE Society president and PDA College chairman Shashil G. Namoshi told a press conference here on Thursday that 729 students, 690 undergraduates and 39 postgraduates, will receive their degrees awarded by Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.
A total of 35 gold medals will be shared among 19 students this year.
Computer Science and Engineering student Abdulla Danish has secured seven gold medals, the highest, followed by Electrical and Electronics Engineering student Prajwal G. Shastri with six.
Abhishek of Civil Engineering, Talha Sufiyan of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Talha Aman Ali of Mechanical Engineering and Sagar of Information Science and Engineering have secured two gold medals each.
Thirteen other graduates from different departments have secured one gold medal each.
