Jana Sena Party leaders and workers organised bike rallies and service programmes in Visakhapatnam and Anakapalle on Wednesday to mark the birthday of party president and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.
In the Visakhapatnam South constituency, MLA Vamsi Krishna Srinivas participated in a bike rally from Poorna Market to Zilla Parishad Junction. A blood donation camp, a medical camp and an eye camp were also held. The organisers said about 900 units of blood were collected.
In the Pendurthi constituency, MLA Panchkarla Ramesh Babu led a bike rally from Parawada to Meenakshi Convention Hall. A blood donation camp was organised with the support of Helping Hearts and Rotary Blood Bank, with 186 people donating blood, according to the organisers. Clothes were distributed to GVMC sanitation workers.
