In his first interview since his ex-wife’s trial, Patrick Clancy opened up about his grief at losing his three children and said that he tried his best before the tragic killings in Massachusetts. “I think I did the best I could with what I had at the time,” he said in an interview with CBS’ “60 Minutes” that aired Sunday. “And I live with the outcome. I live with it every day.” Lindsay Clancy, 36, sought treatment for depression and was hospitalized before she killed their three children, Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, in January 2023. Her high-profile murder trial, which ended with the jury split 11-1 and a mistrial declared Sept. 4, centered on a defense that argued she was not criminally responsible for their deaths because she was suffering from postpartum psychosis. Patrick Clancy said he did not know much about postpartum illness before.
