Doctors at Curis Velan Speciality Hospital in the city have performed a major neurosurgery procedure on a woman from Pudukottai who was diagnosed with a brain tumour (meningioma) recently.
According to an official release, neurosurgeon Dr. Hariharasudhan led the medical team that performed the operation lasting six hours. The patient was discharged in stable condition on the fourth day after surgery. All findings were satisfactory in her first follow-up visit, said the press release.
