ISLAMABAD: A young patient allegedly died after being subjected to torture at a private mental health centre in Islamabad, prompting police to receive a complaint from the victim's family, authorities said.
According to the victim's father, an application has been submitted at Shahzad Town Police Station seeking registration of a First Information Report (FIR) against the management of the mental health facility.
In his complaint, the father alleged that staff members fled the centre following the incident and claimed that visible torture marks were found on his son's body.
