The appeal by Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai follows the circulation of a helmet camera video showing a group of boda boda operators forcing a fellow rider to stop after he picked up a female passenger by the roadside.
The rider had made a U-turn after collecting the passenger when several operators pursued and intercepted him a short distance away, demanding to know why he was picking up customers in what they described as their territory.
