Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) Joint Managing Director (JMD) M. Siva Prasad on Wednesday conducted an extensive review of the corporation’s operations and inspected key facilities in Vijayawada, emphasising the need to improve service quality and passenger satisfaction.
Emphasising a passenger-centric approach, Mr. Siva Prasad stated that passenger convenience, safety and satisfaction must remain APSRTC’s highest priorities.
At the RTC House, the JMD reviewed the functioning of the mechanical engineering and commercial departments. Officials presented details on departmental performance, ongoing activities, revenue generation, maintenance operations and progress achieved.
Mr. Siva Prasad stressed the importance of bus maintenance, improved vehicle availability, efficient use of resources, expenditure control and revenue enhancement. He directed officials to work in coordination, promptly address field-level issues and strive collectively to achieve the corporation’s objectives.
