The former Dublin footballer and Ballyboden St Endas' 2016 All-Ireland senior club football winning captain lifted the Andy Merrigan Cup after Ballyboden beat Castlebar Mitchels.
The Dublin GAA community has been plunged into mourning at the sad news of the death of the former county player at the age of 36 following a battle with cancer.
"The 2015-16 season was one of the greatest in the club’s history, capturing Dublin, Leinster and All-Ireland senior football titles," said a club statement.
