Parliament summons Uganda Airlines' top officials over audit queries
Uganda's parliamentary committee, COSASE, has summoned top officials from Uganda Airlines following their failure to address financial irregularities identified in the 2025 Auditor General's report. The committee is investigating concerns regarding share capital, operational losses, and questionable leasing contracts.

Parliament’s Committee on Commissions, Statutory Authorities and State Enterprises (COSASE) has issued formal summonses to the top management of Uganda Airlines after the officials failed to appear to answer critical financial queries raised in the Auditor General’s 2025 report.
The airline’s management was scheduled to appear before the committee on Monday at 9:00 AM. Following their absence without official explanation, COSASE chairperson Muwada Nkunyingi directed that the officials appear on Thursday at 8:00 AM, with summonses to be served directly by police officers. Those summoned include the Accounting Officer, the Chairperson of the Contracts Committee, the Manager of Corporate Affairs, and both the current and former Chief Executive Officers.
