Parliament yesterday officially paid tribute to the deceased King of Tooro, Oyo Nyimba Iguru Rukidi IV, who died in the USA city of Dallas last Thursday.
Legislators praised Omukama Oyo, who made history and international headlines after becoming king aged 3 and ruling for 31 years. Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja hailed the deceased 34-year-old king as a distinguished leader who served the people of Tooro with resilience, love and hard work, and also spread that love to Uganda as a whole.
