A government teacher was allegedly assaulted by the parents and relatives of a Class IX student at ZP High School in Kalyandurg on Friday (September 11, 2026), following a complaint from the girl regarding the teacher’s alleged misbehaviour.
The teacher identified as Ramachandra Naik, who teaches Telugu, was reportedly confronted by the girl’s parents and relatives at the school. They allegedly assaulted him before the police arrived at the scene. The police intervened and took Naik to the local police station, where they registered a case based on a complaint from the girl’s parents.
