Parappana Agrahara prison searches uncover mobile phone, SIM cards and cash

According to the complaint filed by B.M. Kotresh, Superintendent, Central Prison, Parappana Agrahara, prison officials conducted a surprise inspection of Tower-2, C-Barrack between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. on September 29. During the search of Room No. 4, officials found a keypad mobile phone without a SIM card in the bag of convict prisoner Malatesh.
During the inspection of Room No. 5, officials found three SIM cards concealed inside a cap kept on the bed of convict prisoner Mohammed Nawaz.
