Parali sub-district takes early lead at Palakkad district sports meet in Keralam

Parali sub-district has taken an early lead in the Palakkad Revenue District Sports Meet after a successful opening day. The event featured competitions in triple jump and pole vault, with further track and field events scheduled for the following day.

Parali sub-district took an early lead at the Palakkad Revenue District Sports Meet, winning both events held on the opening day at the Parali Higher Secondary School ground.
At the school level, Parali Higher Secondary School leads with 27 points having won four gold, two silver and one bronze. GVHSS, Koppam, is second with 10 points, followed by Mundur HSS and GVHSS, Chalissery, with seven points each.
In the sub-district standings, Parali leads with 34 points having won four gold, four silver and two bronze medals. Pattambi is second with 12 points and Cherpulassery third with 11.
The first-day events were triple jump and pole vault. Parali school won four events, while GVHSS, Koppam, won two.
