PanIIT summit to help shape roadmap for DeepTech initiatives in Andhra Pradesh

The PanIIT Summit 2026, scheduled to be organised by the Andhra Pradesh government in Vijayawada on October 3, aims to bring together IIT leadership, alumni, industry, investors, policymakers and innovators to shape a roadmap aligned with Swarna Andhra@2047.
The vision is to use DeepTech, research, innovation and advanced manufacturing as drivers of the State’s growth, while addressing priorities in energy, healthcare, agriculture, water, space and defence.
The summit will focus on translating discussions into policy recommendations. There will be five panels on Energy and Fuel Cost Optimisation; DeepTech—Quantum, Semiconductors and AI; Space and Defence Manufacturing; BioValley—Health Access and Screening; and AgriTech, Water and the Blue Economy.
The energy panel will examine ways to reduce energy and fuel costs through solar, wind, green hydrogen and batteries, with a net-zero goal for 2047. It will consider integrating quantum, AI/ML and semiconductors into governance, industry and services and developing competitive products.
