Panasonic recalls toaster ovens over electric shock hazard
Panasonic has issued a voluntary recall for specific Flashxpress toaster oven models due to a potential electric shock or fire hazard caused by a faulty power cord. Consumers are advised to stop using the products immediately and contact the company for a refund.

Product recalls are critical for consumer safety, preventing potential injuries or property damage from defective household appliances.
The notice applies to Flashxpress toaster ovens with model numbers NB-G205S and NB-G200SVA. Model numbers can be found on the product label on the back of the toaster oven.
The problem is with the toaster oven's power cord.
"The insulation may be insufficient because a protective fiberglass sleeve may not fully cover the cord, creating a potential risk of electric shock or fire," Panasonic said in its voluntary recall notice.
