Palnadu district draft electoral roll lists 15.49 lakh voters

Palnadu district has released its draft electoral roll, identifying over 15.49 million voters following a verification process. The district administration has invited citizens to submit claims or objections regarding the roll until August 30, 2026.

Palnadu district has a total of 15,49,802 electors, according to the draft electoral roll released by District Collector and District Election Officer Kritika Shukla on Friday as part of the Election Commission of India’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR) programme.
The draft roll was released in the presence of representatives of recognised political parties, and copies were distributed to the Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) of all Assembly constituencies in the district.
The district has 7,58,339 male electors, 7,91,312 female electors and 151 transgender electors.
Ms. Shukla said 1,91,996 names were deleted during the verification of Absent, Shifted, Dead and Duplicate (ASDD) electors. The deletions include 46,157 untraceable or absent electors, 61,868 who had permanently shifted, 24,378 deceased electors, 99 duplicate entries and others identified during the revision process.
