Former Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov is launching a defense technology venture backed by Palantir CEO Alex Karp. For those unaware, Palantir is America's biggest defence technology company. Palantir has several multi-million deals with American government agencies including the Pentagon. Ukrainian defence startup reportedly aims to transform Ukraine’s frontline battlefield innovations into commercial security products for Kyiv and Western allies. Since leaving public office, Fedorov has actively courted Silicon Valley to scale Ukraine’s defense manufacturing footprint. Alongside the new company, he is also reportedly seeking US capital for a defense technology fund targeting autonomous robotics, drone interceptors, and AI-guided missiles.While the financial terms of the investment have not been disclosed, Fedorov’s office said in the statement that Karp will serve as the startup’s first lead investor of the defence startup.
