Palani Math land sale: Six-member panel to audit documents registered during suspended Sub-Registrar’s tenure

In the wake of the fraudulent registration of land belonging to the Palani Math , the Registration Department has constituted a six-member special audit committee to examine all documents registered during the tenure of suspended Sub Registrar Justin Manikandan.
Official sources said all documents registered between February 5, 2024, when Justin Manikandan assumed charge as Sub-Registrar and the date of his suspension would be subjected to an audit.
