Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy accused the previous BRS government of neglecting irrigation and development in Palamuru while former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and his son K.T. Rama Rao were busy building farmhouses.

Launching and inaugurating development works worth nearly ₹200 crore in Devarakadra constituency, Mr. Venkat Reddy alleged that the BRS government had failed to complete several irrigation projects despite being in power for 10 years.

He said the Congress government had completed the Jurala and Nettampadu projects, while KCR had failed to complete the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Project. He also questioned the previous government’s handling of Krishna water diversion towards Rayalaseema through the Pothireddypadu system.
