PAL strengthens India links amid growing travel, trade

Philippine Airlines is betting on stronger Philippines-India connectivity as demand grows for easier movement of travelers, businesses and goods between the two Asian economies. The expansion also gives the flag carrier additional gateways into India's commercial and cultural centers. Four weekly flights

PAL plans to begin nonstop Manila-Delhi and Manila-Mumbai services in December 2026, subject to Indian Government approval. Delhi will operate three times weekly, while Mumbai will have four weekly flights.

"Opening services to Delhi and Mumbai strengthens PAL's network in one of Asia's most dynamic economies," PAL president Richard Nuttall said in a press statement.

"These routes will create new opportunities for Filipinos to explore India while supporting the growing movement of travelers, businesses and goods between our two countries," he added.

Manila-Delhi flights will depart Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:40 p.m., arriving at 3 a.m. the next day. Return services will operate Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
