NEW DELHI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has suspended all-rounder Hamza Nazar from all forms of cricket for two years and fined him Rs 1 million after finding that he provided misleading information while applying for a visa through the board.The decision was announced on Thursday following an internal inquiry.Hamza had recently emerged as one of the promising performers in Pakistan's domestic circuit.He was reportedly in contention for Pakistan's recent two-Test tour of the West Indies, but the visa-related issue ruled him out of selection.According to the PCB, the inquiry found that Hamza did not provide complete and accurate information during the visa application process.The board said he had submitted misleading details and failed to disclose important facts.A three-member inquiry committee was formed to investigate the matter.
