Packers' Josh Jacobs charged with misdemeanor battery, criminal damage to property

GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs was charged Thursday with misdemeanor counts for an argument with his girlfriend. An initial court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 17 on the charges of battery and criminal damage to property stemming from an incident May 23 at a Hobart home . According to the criminal complaint, police responded to a home for an open 911 line, with dispatchers hearing yelling and swearing before the line was disconnected. The victim told police she and Jacobs argued about Jacobs talking to other women. "ANM and Jacobs then went into the bedroom and Jacobs was pacing back and forth. ANM grabbed her second phone from a duffle bag, and Jacobs called her a derogatory name. He made some comment to the effect that he would 'do something to her'.
