LMP president Inno Dy says strict DBM rules will ensure the record ₱58.32‑billion Local Government Support Fund (LGSF) for 2027 is distributed fairly and free from political bias.
The allocation includes ₱37.49B for LGU assistance, ₱10.3B for the Growth Equity Fund, ₱9.74B for the Barangay Development Program, and ₱1B for participatory budgeting.
Dy calls the LGSF an "equity tool" to limit patronage politics, funding programs like free rice distribution, farm‑to‑market roads, water systems, health facilities, and evacuation centers.
