P-Square fallout: Royalty fraud claims, family betrayal and a reunion that failed

The story of P-Square, the Nigerian pop titan duo composed of identical twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye, stands as one of the most remarkable and tumultuous sagas in modern African music history.

For over a decade, the brothers dominated charts across the continent with infectious hits and signature dance choreography.

However, what began as subtle creative friction eventually spiraled into full-blown public feuds, physical brawls, multi-billion-naira royalty fraud charges, and a bitter legal war that has permanently shattered any remaining hopes of a musical reunion.

The public fracture of the group first reached a terrifying climax in late 2017 when a leaked video surfaced online, showing a physical brawl inside the office of their former legal counsel.

The disturbing clip captured Peter, Paul, and their elder brother and longtime manager, Jude Okoye, engaged in a heated shouting match that rapidly devolved into physical aggression.
