P. Shankar posted as Commissioner of Archaeology

The Tamil Nadu government on Friday transferred IAS officer P. Shankar, Agriculture Production Commissioner and Secretary, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department, and posted him as Commissioner of Archaeology, replacing V.P. Jayaseelan, who was holding additional charge of the post. The State government also directed N. Subbaiyan, Secretary, Social Justice Department, to hold full additional charge of the post of Agriculture Production Commissioner and Secretary, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department.
