Fashion brand Péro is expanding into home decor with a new collection featuring archival textiles and whimsical designs. The collection will be showcased in Chennai, emphasizing the brand's commitment to storytelling through craft.
Why it matters
This illustrates the trend of fashion brands diversifying into lifestyle and home goods to leverage their existing design identity.
What is home, if not a place for comfort, with a little whimsy sprinkled in?
For Aneeth Arora, founder of fashion brand Péro , working with garments has always been about creating experiences, and telling stories. Taking this forward through Péro home, only felt natural. She calls it less of a pivot and more of a natural evolution.
From September 3 to 6, Péro home will take over The Folly at Amethyst in Chennai. Floral applique in soft pastels, cheery checks in reds and yellows, bright threadwork, whimsical hand-drawn illustrations and vintage buttons, all representative of the brand’s distinct aesthetic and visual language, feature across cushion covers, curtains, carpets, quilts, blankets, table runners, napkins and more.
