P, Golkar in Latest Party Electability Survey

The Gerindra Party leads Indonesia's political party electability with 23.2%, putting it ahead of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) and Golkar, which ranked second and third, respectively.

The finding came from a face-to-face survey by Poltracking Indonesia conducted from Aug. 14 to 20, 2026, involving 1,220 respondents across 38 provinces.

"The Gerindra Party, with 23.2% electability, remains ahead of the other parties. PDI-P is in second place at 11.6%, followed by Golkar at 10.4%," Poltracking Indonesia researcher Yoki Alvetro said during the online release of the survey on Wednesday.
