Over 67,000 diyas illuminate Satna across seven venues

SATNA: More than 60,000 earthen lamps were lit across seven locations in Satna on September 17 as part of the ‘Ek Diya, Seva Ke Naam’ programme organised by the Satna Municipal Corporation under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan. Thousands of residents joined the citywide programme, lighting diyas at different venues in an initiative centred on public participation and community engagement.
Venkatesh Lok, the main venue, was illuminated with 31,000 diyas. As evening set in, rows of lamps lit up the complex, which also featured rangoli artwork, themed installations and a special selfie point.
