Over 300 gram of suspected MDMA seized in two cases in Kochi; 3 arrested

The Kochi City police claimed to have arrested three youths and seized 305 gram of suspected MDMA in two separate cases on Thursday.
In the first incident, the police arrested Afsal, 23, of Cherthala, Alappuzha and Jesna Susan Juby, 20, of Chengannur, Alappuzha with 198 gram of the suspected synthetic drug from a lodge at Kalappurackal Road.
In the other incident, Vishnu B. Pai of 34 of Pandikudi, Fort Kochi, was nabbed from near Ernakulam Junction railway station with 107 gram of suspected MDMA.
Both seizures were made in the jurisdiction of the Ernakulam Central police. A probe is on into the source of the contraband, the police said.
