Over 30 science models exhibited at St. Aloysius PU College

St. Aloysius PU College hosted the 'Genesis 2026' exhibition, where students showcased over 30 science models ranging from smart technology to sustainable living solutions. The event encouraged scientific inquiry and innovation among the youth.

To help prospective investors make an informed choice about stocks for long-term investment, a team of second-year PU computer science students, comprising Joel Jeremiah, Joshua Thomas and Mackton Mendonca of St. Aloysius PU College, designed the ‘Stratos Sovereign Engine’ portal.
Another team, comprising Siara Anola Dsouza and Riona Vevina Dsouza, designed a prototype of an ‘Auto Clinical Dustbin’, which opens on activation of a sensor and closes after a few seconds once filled with waste.
Second-year PU students Sonal Ria Sequira and Zubaida Zia have designed a prototype of a ‘Hydraulic Robotic Arm’.
They were among over 30 science models developed by 700 students from the first and second year PU courses, displayed at the two-day ‘Genesis 2026’ science model competition and exhibition for college students organised by St. Aloysius PU College at Loyola Hall. The two-day event concluded on Wednesday, August 19.
