Over 2,700 without power after strong winds, rain
Strong winds and heavy rain have caused power outages for approximately 7,000 homes and businesses across Ireland. ESB Networks is working on repairs while Met Éireann warns of potential flooding and difficult travel conditions.

ESB Networks said they are working to restore power after adverse weather conditions caused widespread disruption, predominantly in the south and southwest.
