Over 2,100 candidates appeared for the NEET (PG) medical entrance examination across 11 centers in Tiruchi. The exam, conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences, proceeded with standard security and logistical support.

As many as 2,113 candidates appeared for the postgraduate National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) at 11 centres in Tiruchi on Sunday. Of the 2,170 registered candidates, 57 were absent.
The examination, conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences, is for admission to MD, MS, and postgraduate diploma courses.
Candidates were allowed entry between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. They underwent verification and frisking before entering the hall. The examination concluded at 12.30 p.m.
Security arrangements were made at all centres, with uninterrupted power supply, drinking water, emergency medical assistance and special bus services for candidates.
