Over 2,000 participate in SRMIST’s run for environmental harmony

This year's event, themed 'Run for Environmental Harmony', aimed to promote physical well-being and environmental stewardship among students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Kattankulathur, organised the 10 th edition of SRM RUN as part of Aaruush ’26, the university’s national-level ‘TechnoManagement Fest’. The event witnessed a turnout of over 2,000 runners.
According to a press release, marking a decade of collective action, fitness, and social impact, this year’s run was organised with the theme ‘Run for Environmental Harmony’ and the tagline ‘Sustainable Vision, Enduring Commitment’. The event brought together students, faculty members, staff, and alumni, promoting the importance of physical well-being, active lifestyles, and environmental stewardship, the release added.
